In the spring of 2000, Angel Vergara participated in the group exhibition ’As it is’ in the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham. While Léo Ferré sings ’L’impossible’ by Arthur Rimbaud, an edited series of images and sketched impressions of Birmingham are shown with fragments of recordings of local performances given as his alter ego Straatman. The title of the movie refers to a lottery Vergara organised there. The movie consists of all the locations around Birmingham that featured in the lottery.
