’Rue Foire’ is an edited series of film-stills, made during an demonstration on 12 and 13 May 1989 around and in the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels, and opposite the Gallery des Beaux-Arts, during the Brussels art fair in the Centre for Fine Arts. First a banner with cut out floral designs is shown. The banner obstructs the route from Ravensteinstraat to the Brussels Park. Next images are shown of a figure in a tent, who will later be called Straatman. Ann-Veronica Janssens also appears on screen.
