The apple eater

After the six-year project ‘The Return of the Swallows’ Els Dietvorst started this collaborative film project in which she works anew with people from various backgrounds, several loyal followers to go with her she called The New Swallows. In distinct clair obscur constrasts, ‘The Apple-Eater’ shows us the voyage of some people in search for a better world and life. Touching upon surrealist humour/ content, the film criticizes the migration policy in Europe, which often even fails to offer newcomers food and temporary shelter.
