The whole skin types catalog (a tepid summer)

In order to construct this work Dekyndt made a filmed review of different skins – used as a colour palette. The backs of different persons were filmed, focusing each time on the spot between the shoulder blades. The interweaving and the succession of skins, from very light to very dark, account for the diversity and unique texture of each skin. The work was originally conceived for the Museum van Central Africa in Tervuren, Belgium.
