Meeting point over the edges

’Meeting Point over the Edges’ consists of two parts: ’Jokes’ and ’Straatman Army’. During ’Over the Edges’ In 2000 Vergara participated in ’Over the Edges’, a group exhibition in Ghent’s inner city. Vergara used equipment from the Belgian army for his project. He set it up in the inner city, generating an analogy between the art occupying the city during the exhibition and the army that seemed to be doing the same. With his action, Vergara demonstrates art as a strategy.
