In this ‘Akashic Peeper Project’, Lee Ranaldo (a member of the band Sonic Youth) reads from his ‘Road Movie’ poems and shares his vision on reality that is fairly nomadic. Hänzel & Gretzel’s highly idiosyncratic images match perfectly Ranaldo’s poetry. This work juxtaposes an aggressive rawness with an oddly poetic, even metaphysical, sensibility.
