Action cocktail

Images from the mass media and Vergara’s own exterior shots are combined with video-recordings of a Brussels performance in which Angel Vergara asked everyone walking past to sign his CV in Marie-Puck Broodthaers’s Gallery des Beaux-Arts (where a Christian Boltanski exhibition was being held) and the gallery of Xavier Hufkens (a Julião Sarmento exhibition). The montage ends with an evening recording of a chip stall. Here, Vergara registers his artistry in a series of realities filmed either by himself, or taken from another media source.
