‘Burroughs Vertical?’, a video installation on six monitors and made with four tapes, mixes the voice and photos of the American Beat Generation author William S. Burroughs with a flashing stream of image fragments. Two balls made out of concentric circles in green and orange keep spinning around like they are trying to hypnotize the audience. Images of a devil-man and of shaman figures keep on reappearing. It’s almost as if the installation had been built to create a true voodoo experience.
