This performative documentary presents a fusion of the key strands of Douglas Park and Cel Crabeels artistic practice. Several of the DP performances are staged and restaged in different places on Jeju Island and the Seoul art world. New footage taken from a range of different contexts converge with local Korean touristic an cultural hotspots. These staging’s form the set for a new film, which has been produced ‘live’ and is screened simultaneously in the different venue’s of the Douglasism exhibitions. It’s a film with a performative documentary character which focuses on the artist's current production that undermines the very idea of a well-ordered survey. In line with the artist's irreverent style, it raises the questions 'What does filming, performing and documenting arts means today?' it is a plea for the continuous expansion of the concept of art. The film was screened simultaneously in the different venue’s of the Douglasism exhibition in 2014 in Seoul.
