Pommier en fleurs

On a sunny day in spring, the artist films an apple tree in his garden. The work is filmed from a large number of different camera angles, from long shot to close up, and eye level to frog perspective (the artist’s feet appear in the frame several times). Vergara also films from his house – reflections are created in the windows’ glass – and he films other people in the garden. The frantic montage of the work induces a hallucinatory effect.
