We are pleased that The Yellow Mazda and His Holiness has been selected for the International Competition Fiction & Documentary of the 16th edition VIS Vienna Shorts. The qualifying event for the Academy Awards, the European Film Awards and the Austrian Film Awards will take place from May 28 to June 2, 2019.

The aim of Fiction & Documentary is to find clever and powerful films that use the means of cinema to approach the world around us and deal with it in an unusual way. The films should take a critical view and a political stance, challenge us on a formal and content-related level and not feel bound by genre boundaries.

The Yellow Mazda and His Holiness will be presented in the section "I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night" in which the following works will be screened:

Our Song to War Juanita Onzaga, BE 2018, 14:00 min

At home Luisina Anderson, AR 2019, 11:00 min

The Yellow Mazda and His Holiness Sandra Heremans, BE 2018, 10:31 min
