ABOUT COLLECTION
In the course
of its history, Argos has built up a collection of 5000 artists’
films and videos covering 45 years. Most are single-channel works on digital
support. The collection plays
a pivotal role. It is not only Argos’s artistic and symbolic capital, but also
the discursory basis for many of this arts centre’s activities.
It is possible
for the public to consult the collection in the media library by appointment.
The majority of the works can be borrowed for screening externally through Argos’s
distribution department.
