SAFE SEX

‘Safe sex’ talks about drifting off from plain sexuality to obscene asexuality. The playthings and the erotic objects presented by Pascal Bernier are on the borderline between allegory and silent objectivity. The elements evoke a polarised universe in which play and death, pain and the commonplace are reflected in each other. Bernier, in alternate coldness and aggressiveness, travels an apparently private world.
