DIE UNBEZÄHMBARE LENI PEICKERT

As Adorno stated: "The almost insoluble task is to let neither the power of others, nor our own powerlessness, stupefy us". This quote can introduce this half-hour sequel to Alexander Kluge's second feature film, Die Artisten in der Zirkuskuppel: ratlos. The circus director Leni Peickert continues to pursue her activities. Circus in winter. Bitter times. Die Unbezähmbare Leni Peickert (The indomitable Leni Peickert) opens where the previous film left off, at a TV station where Leni and her friends have gathered as employees, attempting to infiltrate the corporate establishment with their own attempt to change the world.
