ELEMENTS

‘Elements’ is the result of the collaboration between the artists Charley Case, Bouchra Moutaharik and Laurence Vray. A shot of a wood lighted by a torch mingles with the sound of leaves and twigs cracking under footsteps. This image that so strongly appeals to the imagination gradually changes into an eerie face. What follows next is a trip through a dense forest, which results in a series of fairy-tale associations: fly agaric, water murmuring, ferns unrolling in the early morning dew. But this artistic feverish dream continues: people meditate around a campfire, twittering birds summon dawn in the forest, the back of a human being is penetrated from inside by a huge hand. Anyone entering the surreal world of ‘Elements’ will not lightly forget this walk!
