LABEL_WORK_DESCRIPTION
This documentary revolves around Alfons De Joncker and his plans to build flying saucers. Former pupils of the Technical School in Geel talk about these project. First De Joncker built a teleconducted car. By 1962 he worked together with the students at some non-navigable flying saucers, who flew above the Kempen until they ran out of fuel. After meeting Bobbejaan Schoepen, who would become his sponsor, De Joncker started working on a scaucer that would be navigated by one pilot. But the project took up too much time and money, and many people believed the device would never fly. Schoepen stopped his financial support. De Joncker left the country and disappeared. A few years later, on the Finnish news, images were shown of a crashed flying saucer.
